The perfect place to enjoy a stylish post work tipple...
I'm always on the hunt for a fabulous tipple, so I couldn't resist the offer to sample Two Ruba's new sharing cocktails menu with a selection of delicious cocktails that are perfect for two- four people.
Situated in the London Hilton Hotel Tower Bridge (near London Bridge train station), Two Ruba is conveniently located near the heart of the City, making it a great option for those looking for a post work cocktail in sleek surroundings.
The decor is tastefully done throughout, with mesh curtains for privacy and comfortable armchairs in a muted charcoal and taupe palette. After a long day at work, you'll be tempted to sink into an armchair to peruse the sharing cocktail menu. Or if you'd like something more private, reserve 'The Snug, a beautiful private room that lends itself perfectly for larger groups.
Boasting a trio of tipples (£19 each) that can serve up to four people, these quirky cocktails are a great way to unwind after a long day.
During my visit, I enjoyed the Hendrick's Tea Pot, which arrived in a beautiful vintage inspired tea pot. Although, I don't typically like drinks served over crushed ice as I can find them a bit fiddly and not quenching, but this one was lovely and refreshing - great for a summer's day (if summer ever arrives)! Comprised of Hendrick's gin, jasmine tea and strawberry with a twist of lime, it's sweet without being cloying.
My favourite cocktail, however, was the Savage Beauty, inspired by the late Alexander McQueen. Served in a striking glass skull, in true rock and roll style, the Savage Beauty blends Olmeca Reposada tequila and Aperol with tropical mango, peach, ginger and lime. And, it really packs a punch! So, grab your friends and head to Two Ruba for a cheeky cocktail or two or three...

There's a little trend happening in Brixton at the moment called gentrification. Some despise it, others welcome it with open arms, but whatever your stance, it's hard to ignore the wealth of trendy new bars and restaurants popping up every day in the place of tired looking shops.
One of the newest bars to grace Coldharbour Lane, Three Eight Four takes the urban industrial chic look and runs with it. The rusted iron grills on the windows and entrance provide an air of New York meat-packing district edge, drawing in punters with its intriguingly pared down allure.
Once inside, customers can enjoy seriously sophisticated seasonal cocktails that pack a punch. Those who like their drinks on the more traditional side, can select a tipple from the Classics menu.
It's not just cocktails that make this a must-visit destination - their small plates are to die for. Mouth-watering options include: slow cooked beef brisket, Moroccan pork loin, salt & pepper squid, ceviche, artichoke heart salad, and moreish sides such as sweet potato fries.
Get there early to grab the perfect spot to wile away the hours with a cheeky tipple and a tasty nibble...
