There's a little trend happening in Brixton at the moment called gentrification. Some despise it, others welcome it with open arms, but whatever your stance, it's hard to ignore the wealth of trendy new bars and restaurants popping up every day in the place of tired looking shops.
One of the newest bars to grace Coldharbour Lane, Three Eight Four takes the urban industrial chic look and runs with it. The rusted iron grills on the windows and entrance provide an air of New York meat-packing district edge, drawing in punters with its intriguingly pared down allure.
Once inside, customers can enjoy seriously sophisticated seasonal cocktails that pack a punch. Those who like their drinks on the more traditional side, can select a tipple from the Classics menu.
It's not just cocktails that make this a must-visit destination - their small plates are to die for. Mouth-watering options include: slow cooked beef brisket, Moroccan pork loin, salt & pepper squid, ceviche, artichoke heart salad, and moreish sides such as sweet potato fries.
Get there early to grab the perfect spot to wile away the hours with a cheeky tipple and a tasty nibble...
Open from 5pm 'til late.
