There's nothing like the smell of coconut to instantly transport one into holiday mode. So, when I heard about the new CoCo LoCo Jet Set haircare kit by award-winning hairdresser Lee Stafford, I couldn't wait to get my mitts on it.
The Jet Set kit comes with a Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo hairdryer, a travel size 50ml bottle of Lee Stafford CoCo Lo Shampoo and CoCo Lo Conditioner and a stylish rose gold bag to keep everything tidy in your suitcase. The shampoo and conditioner have a seriously sweet fragrance, which I personally enjoy, but if you find confectionery fragranced products a bit too much, they might be a bit saccharine for your liking.
To test it's true travel worthiness, I took the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Jet Set kit on a weekend visit to Madrid. Although, the hairdryer has a folding handle, it is quite large for a travel hairdryer - especially if like me, you're going on a weekend jaunt and are only taking hand luggage. So, while I won't be taking this hairdryer on any further holidays, it's good for home use.
The main claim to fame for this hairdryer is that it's grill has a ceramic coating infused with coconut oil, renowned for making hair silky, shiny and smooth. While I was disappointed that I couldn't actually smell any evidence of the coconut oil infusion, my hair was nice and smooth afterwards, so I'll take their word for it!
The Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Jet Set range is available at www.leestaffordelectricals.com from £20.00.
I've found that the older I've gotten, the thinner my hair seems to have become, making my once thick, lustrous mane a thing of the past. I'm not sure whether this is down to age (most likely, everything else seems to be!) or years of highlighting my hair (sorry hair, but blondes really do have more fun), but whatever it is, I'm determined to give my hair the best chance I can to help it to remain strong and healthy.
Thankfully, the clever people behind Paul Mitchell haircare products have just the thing at hand to help give me fuller, stronger hair - the Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning range. This hardworking range of sulfate-free products aim to prime the scalp for stronger, thicker-looking hair.
Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Shampoo
The first step of the routine, this cleanser containing Kakadu plum, pea peptides, clover flower, turmeric and ginseng stimulates the scalp and removes impurities.
Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Conditioner
The second step of the routine, this conditioner helps to detangle fragile hair and reduce breakage. For someone like me who is always shocked to see how much hair I shed each day (it's a wonder I have any left on my head), this is crucial.
Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Tonic
The last step of the routine, this tonic is sprayed onto your scalp (you can use it twice per day) to help increase hair density and encourage healthy hair growth.
I loved the uplifting tea tree scent all of the products had - without being too overpowering or medicinal, which some tea tree products can be. After using the full product range for the past few days, my hair feels strong, clean and healthy with less product residue.
The secret to fabulous frizz-free tresses
I'm always looking for new shampoos to help make my wavy tresses look their best, so I was looking forward to trying the new range of hair products from Shea Moisture.
The range of natural products includes a Frizz Defense Styling Gel Cream, Frizz Defense Condititioner and a Frizz Defense Shampoo, all of which are essential for anyone with unruly locks in need of a bit of taming.
I loved the sweet almond fragrance and the fact that the products were sulfate free. After switching to this range for one week, my hair felt sleeker and I had less flyaways.
I'd definitely recommend this haircare range to anyone looking for sleeker, more manageable hair - without having to break the bank.

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi-benefit Hair Masque with Marula Oil and Biotin (£12.99 for 326 ml) is a natural intensive hair masque that's paraben free, something my hair dresser always advises is an ingredient to avoid when it comes to looking after your hair.
This multi-purpose masque can be used either as a conditioner (after washing) or as an intensive treatment - simply generously comb through your damp clean hair, pop on a shower cap – or wrap with cling film as I had to do (not a great look but was worth it} – and heat with a hair dryer.
Afterwards, my hair looked more luminous and vibrant and felt softer and less frizzy. I’m going to invest in a shower cap for my next treatment and based on the great results, I’ll be doing this once a week moving forward.
Thicker, fuller hair at your fingertips
If you are looking for thicker, fuller hair, then you need to try the fabulous range of haircare products from Time Bomb. Created by the team behind John Frieda haircare, each product is uniquely formulated to make fine hair appear thicker, stronger and fuller. These clever formulations with their unique tri-peptide complex, strengthening proteins and body-building ingredients will simply wash and spray the strength and volume in.
Time Bomb Larger Than Life Shampoo (£16.50 / 250ml) This body-building formula shampoo has fortifying wheat protein and a unique peptide complex to give hair body and bounce so hair looks and feels thicker and fuller. Its sulphate-free formula is gentler than traditional detergent based shampoos and contains a special ingredient, Flexan, that helps lift off styling and conditioner build-up that can weigh down the hair while providing a protective sheath that give individual hair strand more substance. It also contains a unique tri-peptide complex that actually helps "anchor" hair at the root, giving it strength and body.
Time Bomb Larger Than Life Conditioner (£16.50 / 250ml) This is an ultra-lightweight conditioner that aids de-tangling but also adds thickness and strength thanks to the unique tri-peptide complex.
Time Bomb High Profile Thicken + Lift Spray (£16.50 / 150ml) this is like filler for hair as it adds plumpness and fullness immediately! It gets to the root of fine, limp hair to defy gravity and deliver dramatic, long-lasting lift and supersize style.
Time Bomb Strike A Pose Modelling Hair Spray (£16.50 / 200ml) provides strong yet flexible hold without that stiff or brittle feeling.
I've been using all of the Time Bomb products regularly for the past month and my hair has been noticeably healthier and has more volume without feeling weighed down. I'd definitely recommend this range to anyone with limp, lifeless hair that's in need of a bit of a boost!
