Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi-Benefit Hair Masque with Marula Oil and Biotin1/12/2016 Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi-benefit Hair Masque with Marula Oil and Biotin (£12.99 for 326 ml) is a natural intensive hair masque that's paraben free, something my hair dresser always advises is an ingredient to avoid when it comes to looking after your hair.
This multi-purpose masque can be used either as a conditioner (after washing) or as an intensive treatment - simply generously comb through your damp clean hair, pop on a shower cap – or wrap with cling film as I had to do (not a great look but was worth it} – and heat with a hair dryer. Afterwards, my hair looked more luminous and vibrant and felt softer and less frizzy. I’m going to invest in a shower cap for my next treatment and based on the great results, I’ll be doing this once a week moving forward. www.sheamoisture.com Elinor Seath

Cold winter winds and dry indoor heating can often leave your locks looking lacklustre, which is why Spring is the perfect time to give you hair some extra TLC. We've rounded up our favourite hair masks that deliver sleek, silky, smooth hair to help pep up your hair before the summer months.
Clockwise from left to right: NHP Nourish Hair Mask (£9.60 for 300ml) This hair mask really packs a punch! Argan oil and Macadamia Oil deliver superb moisturisation. After just one use, my hair was so shiny and voluminous that my friends actually thought I was wearing extensions. The tube makes it handy for storing in your shower, without taking up too much precious space. A must-have product for tired, limp locks. Available from selected salons nationwide and online at www.beautybyzara.com. Nu Skin Renu Hair Mask ($20 for 100g) Featuring creatine and CS7, an innovative cuticle smoothing agent that acts as cuticle glue to seal and strengthen each cuticle, this mask prevents split ends and breakage, making hair smooth, shiny, and manageable for up to seven days. It also has a really light, refreshing scent, making it pleasing to use. Available from www.nuskin.com. Electric Hairdressing London ºC-1 Intensive Treatment Masque (£23.50 for 200ml) This hair masque has the most heavenly 'spa-inspired' scent out of the three tested. The ultra thick, yet weightless, treatment provides a professional quality treatment at home. Full of moisturising lipids and vegetable proteins, the trio of oils; coconut, olive and wheatgerm, encapsulates the hair shaft to lock in moisture and form a protective film that keeps the cuticle well hydrated - without feeling heavy. The protein-enriched formula hydrates cuticles and keeps ends nourished, giving the effect of longer looking hair. Available from http://www.electric-hair.com. A.A. Miln |
