A taste of the fells in every bottle...
Located near Bassenthwaite Lake on an old Victorian Model farm, The Lakes Distillery's products were inspired by their natural surroundings. Clear lakes, the famous River Derwent, and the Cumbrian hillls and mountains, all helped to fuel the passion and inspiration that comes through in each and every bottle produced at the distillery.
Cheers to the spirit of The Lakes
The Lakes Distillery produces premium whisky, gin and vodka, making it a must-visit destination for discerning spirits lovers.
From the 15 December, The Distillery will also be opening the doors to its 70-seater bistro, tours and gift shop. The bistro and bar will be housed in the heart of the distillery and will feature a constantly evolving menu to reflect the seasons, while showcasing delicious local produce.
The ONE British Blended Whisky
The first blend of whiskies form around the British Isles, The ONE has been classified as one of the best blended whiskies in the world, receiving a Silver Legend award at the 2014 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
To create The ONE, The Lakes Distillery searched far and wide to combine a variety of whisky from the British Isles. The result is a perfectly balanced whisky with smoky, sweet and nutty flavour profiles with a hint of spice.
The Lakes Gin
The only gin to be produced and distilled in Cumbria, The Lakes Gin is truly unique. Distilled in the wilds of the Lake District National Park, the gin is made with local botanicals foraged by the team and lovingly distilled in an artisan still.
The botanical mix consists of a heather, bilberry, hawthorn, meadowsweet, Cumbrian juniper, Cassia Bark and other botanics, for a truly individual flavour profile. Enjoy on its own or in a G&T. Just be careful not be too heavy handed with the tonic!
The Lakes Vodka
Triple-distilled for outstanding purity and outstanding character and complexity, The Lakes Vodka is loving crafted in a small, handcrafted copper pot still, which maintains its delicate aromatics and flavours. Perfect on its own or in a Martini.
