This festive season, why not try something different and enjoy a lovely organic wine or lager?
We've recently discovered Celia Organic lager, a premium, hand-crafted Czech lager. CELIA is brewed for more than two months in the walls of a 14th century castle using traditional batch brewing techniques creating a true craft Czech pilsner. CELIA sources local, sustainably farmed Saaz noble hops and barley, brewed without additives, to ensure great taste. We also love the contemporary label with its unique geometric designs!
Celia is available from Ocado, Oddbins and Whole Foods Market (RRP £2.50).
For Prosecco lovers, Wild Thing Organic Prosecco is a great find. This straw coloured Prosecco from the Veneto region of Italy, has gentle bubbles and flavours of delicate apple with pear aromas. On the palate, it has refreshing and uplifting citrus flavours.
Wild Thing wines is a growing brand developed in association with the Born Free Foundation. For every bottle sold, a donation is made to directly benefit conservation and animal welfare projects around the world. Lions, tigers, elephants, gorillas, wolves, bears, dolphins and many other animals will benefit from the donations received. If you ask me, saving the world while drinking wine sounds like a no brainer!
Wild Thing Organic Prosecco is available from www.vintageroots.co.uk (£9.99).
We love a cheeky tipple, which is why we've compiled our favourite wines, spirits, beers, ciders, liqueurs and cordials.
