Now I'll be honest, whenever I hear the words 'gluten free', my first thought is that it will be gross.  But, to be fair, this is based on  the fact that I've had some really unfortunate tasting gluten free foods in my day. So, when I received two new products from Nairn's gluten free range, I was sceptical about their tastiness factor, but I'm pleased to report that my skepticism was unfounded.  

The Nairn's Gluten Free Ginger Stem Biscuits (£1.89 from select major retailers nationwide), which contain all natural ingredients and gluten free oats, are exceptionally moreish. In fact, my husband and I scoffed the entire package in about two minutes flat!  Their natural goodness means they are ideal for coeliacs or those with gluten intolerances or simply purusing a 'free from' lifestyle. They are also high in fibre, helping to provide a slow release of energy throughout the day, great for when you want a healthy snack that isn't loaded with calories.

The other gluten free product I tried was the Nairn's Gluten Free Cracked Black Pepper Wholegrain Crackers (available from select retailers nationwide), made with gluten free oats. They are light and crispy and not too peppery, making them the perfect accompaniment to a cheese board or served with smoked salmon, for a healthy and indulgent snack.
