I've found that the older I've gotten, the thinner my hair seems to have become, making my once thick, lustrous mane a thing of the past. I'm not sure whether this is down to age (most likely, everything else seems to be!) or years of highlighting my hair (sorry hair, but blondes really do have more fun), but whatever it is, I'm determined to give my hair the best chance I can to help it to remain strong and healthy.
Thankfully, the clever people behind Paul Mitchell haircare products have just the thing at hand to help give me fuller, stronger hair - the Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning range. This hardworking range of sulfate-free products aim to prime the scalp for stronger, thicker-looking hair. Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Shampoo The first step of the routine, this cleanser containing Kakadu plum, pea peptides, clover flower, turmeric and ginseng stimulates the scalp and removes impurities. Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Conditioner The second step of the routine, this conditioner helps to detangle fragile hair and reduce breakage. For someone like me who is always shocked to see how much hair I shed each day (it's a wonder I have any left on my head), this is crucial. Paul Mitchell SCALP CARE Anti-Thinning Tonic The last step of the routine, this tonic is sprayed onto your scalp (you can use it twice per day) to help increase hair density and encourage healthy hair growth. I loved the uplifting tea tree scent all of the products had - without being too overpowering or medicinal, which some tea tree products can be. After using the full product range for the past few days, my hair feels strong, clean and healthy with less product residue. http://www.paul-mitchell.co.uk/ A.A. Miln

The secret to fabulous frizz-free tresses
I'm always looking for new shampoos to help make my wavy tresses look their best, so I was looking forward to trying the new range of hair products from Shea Moisture.
The range of natural products includes a Frizz Defense Styling Gel Cream, Frizz Defense Condititioner and a Frizz Defense Shampoo, all of which are essential for anyone with unruly locks in need of a bit of taming. I loved the sweet almond fragrance and the fact that the products were sulfate free. After switching to this range for one week, my hair felt sleeker and I had less flyaways. I'd definitely recommend this haircare range to anyone looking for sleeker, more manageable hair - without having to break the bank. http://www.sheamoisture.com A.A. Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi-Benefit Hair Masque with Marula Oil and Biotin1/12/2016 Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Multi-benefit Hair Masque with Marula Oil and Biotin (£12.99 for 326 ml) is a natural intensive hair masque that's paraben free, something my hair dresser always advises is an ingredient to avoid when it comes to looking after your hair.
This multi-purpose masque can be used either as a conditioner (after washing) or as an intensive treatment - simply generously comb through your damp clean hair, pop on a shower cap – or wrap with cling film as I had to do (not a great look but was worth it} – and heat with a hair dryer. Afterwards, my hair looked more luminous and vibrant and felt softer and less frizzy. I’m going to invest in a shower cap for my next treatment and based on the great results, I’ll be doing this once a week moving forward. www.sheamoisture.com Elinor Seath I’m a big fan of facial oils as they tend to use more natural ingredients, which is a big plus in my book. The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Jojoba and Rosehip Oil (£16.95) is an organic product that has a lovely light rose fragrance and absorbs into the skin beautifully.
Some oils can be a bit greasy and sit on your skin, but not this one. I have sensitive skin and I have been using this both day and night for a week with great results - my skin feels more alive! I also love the packaging and the handy pipet means no waste. www.thejojobacompany.com. Elinor Seath The importance of looking your best and keeping your confidence levels up when living with cancer or undergoing chemotherapy is well known. For women experiencing changes to their body and appearance, something as simple as a mani or pedi can be a real positivity booster.
Whether you know someone affected by cancer or not, this October you can help to make a difference even while caring for your own nails, by buying a limited edition Margaret Dabbs Nail and Cuticle Serum. Available at its regular £12 price, the serum has been made available in pink packaging in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with 15% of each sale donated to the Breast Cancer Care Charity. Margaret Dabbs is the go-to brand for quality foot and hand care; her approach, as a trained podiatrist, is firmly grounded in the fact that the health of your hands and feet forms the essential basis for their aesthetic appearance - so her clinics and products offer medicalised pedicures as well as a range of specially formulated products, aimed at exfoliation, anti-ageing, treatment and repair, as well as general ‘prettification.’ Australian Emu Oil is the ‘secret ingredient’ of the Margaret Dabbs range; it has long been used for its healing and anti-fungal qualities, and is nourishing, softening and easily absorbed. This is blended with oils of Tea Tree and Lemon Myrtle in the Nail & Cuticle Serum, a combination which will not only prevent nail infections - or treat existing ones - but also strengthen, protect and hydrate nails and cuticles. Available online from Margaret Dabbs, it’s a great way of doing good for others while doing something good for yourself. If you're one of those women who don't suffer from cellulite, then count yourself lucky. Although, I'm slim, I've found that the further away from 30 I've become, my once firm thighs are losing their firmness. I blame age. And the fact that I hate the gym. And I love cheese - lots of it, just not on my legs. Regardless, it's always nice to find a product that helps to give the appearance of firmer skin. For a quick beauty fix to help pep up sagging skin, the Dove Derma Spa Uplifted + is a great and cost-effective solution. This skin firming massaging body roll on helps to improve skin's elasticity in 'challenging areas', which for many women means legs, bums, and tums. The product has a unique triple roller ball application tool, which doubles as a massaging tool, to help give your skin its spring back. I loved the cooling sensation and the clean waterlily and cucumber fragrance and although it doesn't give me license to skip the gym, I reckon every little bit helps when it comes to looking lean! Dove Derma Spa Uplifted + is available from Boots (RRP £9.99 for 100ml). A.A. Miln Get your pins summer ready!Ever since I started shaving, I've always favoured razors over waxing (too painful) or depilatory creams (too messy). So, I was excited to hear about the launch of the new Dorco EVE 6 razor, a six-blade razor with a unique 3 double-blade format. Who even knew that was a thing?! It also has a moisturising band with Aloe, Vitamin E and lavender to calm and protect even the most sensitive skin. And with summer weather (finally) in full swing, now's the time to ensure that your legs are looking as lovely as possible in fabulous summer dresses and stylish shorts. While Razors By Dorco is a relatively new brand to the UK, the brand has more than 60 years of shaving technology behind them, ensuring that they really know their stuff when it comes to making great razors. I loved how easily the razor glided over my legs - especially the tricky bits like knee caps and ankles, which I always seem to nick. I'm pleased to report that after using the EVE 6, I was left cut free and had some seriously smooth legs. I for one, am definitely converted and can't wait to get my legs out this weekend!

It also contains a unique tri-peptide complex that actually helps "anchor" hair at the root, giving it strength and body. Time Bomb Larger Than Life Conditioner (£16.50 / 250ml) This is an ultra-lightweight conditioner that aids de-tangling but also adds thickness and strength thanks to the unique tri-peptide complex. Time Bomb High Profile Thicken + Lift Spray (£16.50 / 150ml) this is like filler for hair as it adds plumpness and fullness immediately! I'd definitely recommend this range to anyone with limp, lifeless hair that's in need of a bit of a boost! www.timebombco.com A.A. Miln If you've ever suffered from irritated skin or eczema, then you need to check out Skinfix, a leading North American skincare range that's great for those with sensitive skin.
The range is completely natural and is an active treatment for skin problems including sun burn, eczema and severely dry and damaged skin. The multi-functional Eczema Balm is great for everything from dry skin patches to scar healing or can even be used as a lip balm and cuticle cream! To put the products through their paces, I had both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law who are both long-time eczema suffers, test the Soothing Lotion and the Eczema Balm. They were thrilled with how quickly the products were absorbed in their skin and loved how they helped to relieve their dry, cracked skin and the itchiness that accompanies it. Overall, this is a great range of products if you have skin issues that need resolving quickly and effectively. http://skinfixinc.com/uk/ A.A. Miln The Nuskin AP-24 Whitening Flouride Toothpaste brightens and whitens teeth while fighting plaque formation. Featuring a special formula that contains no harmful peroxides, AP-24 Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste also helps remove stains and aids in the prevention of cavities - everything you cold ask for in a whitening toothpaste.
